SHELTER builds a 40-meter Span Fabric Aircraft Hangar for Interjet August 31, 2017
SHELTER TENT – one of the world leading clear span structures tent manufacturer, built a 40-meter span fabric aircraft hangar tent combining storage and maintainence for Interjet, a Mexican airline!
Our team assembled a clear span tent structure with floor space totaling 1,600 m2. The 40x40m fabric aircraft hangar was custom-made by SHELTER according to the Interjet model and was equipped with an adjustable eave height of 4.00m + 2.40m through built-in connection technology to fit multi-functional requirements. It was used to provide a temporary maintenance center for aircrafts and served as a security place for storage of equipment and materials, etc.
To blend into the tent's industrial character and strengthen the custom usage, the hangar tent was covered with alternating black-out PVC fabric and translucent PVC fabric. It can protect the aircrafts and materials from exposure to direct sunlight as well as provide ample lighting. Also, the hangar shelter was structured by heavy-duty aluminum alloy. Through the use of the cross brace, our tent structure proved to be a safe area that allows to handle excessive wind loads (up to 120 km/h).
We also pay attention to details. The hangar tent was equipped with electrics, and fittings such as sidewalls and doors, etc., bringing in much convenience.
