SHELTER Provides Clearspan Fabric Structures for ECRL September 5, 2017
Shelter Tent's crew successfully installed over 10,000sqm clearspan fabric structures for the East Coast Rail Link (ECRL) groundbreaking ceremony. Shelter Tent has the right tent structures for the project which can be used either temporarily or semi-permanently, as a reception hall or as a logistics space.
On August 9, 2017, prime minister Najib Razak presided at the groundbreaking ceremony in Pahang state, marking the beginning of construction. At this occasion SHELTER TENT provided more than 10,000 m2 of clearspan tents. The dimension of one of the largest tents is 40 meters width and 75 meters long with an eave height of 4.03 meters. These aluminum tenting structures are completely covered with white PVC fabrics. They are used as catering areas, VIP corporate hospitality venues, and ceremony halls.
Thanks to its modular design, the ceremony tent is a lightweight structure which can be easily transported and be erected in only a few days or weeks. The layout of the whole hall become flexible as there are no barriers inside the tent. It's the perfect arena for big events, shows and the perfect stadium for sports events which take place for some weeks or months. The clear span structures are also well-equipped with ivory linens, red carpets, and lighting systems, provided a large well appointed interior space for over 1,500 guests.
This is not the first time SHELTER TENT to provide large event tents for groundbreaking ceremony. We have worked with Oracle in 2007, providing a 21x40x4m large ceremony tent and a 10x30x4m event tent with related equipment.
